This article primarily explains how to select the appropriate metadata category for Turbo cloud file systems based on usage scenarios.
Description of Metadata Type
Note:
There is no difference in product billing for different metadata types. Select the appropriate type based on your specific business scenarios.
After creation is completed, adjusting the metadata type for the instance is not supported.

Recommended metadata operations OPS
< 300,000
> 300,000
Description
Applicable to most common use cases.
Compared to the Standard Edition, the Enhanced Edition delivers approximately 2x improvement in metadata operation performance on files.
However, the performance for directory-related operations such as creation, deletion, and metadata retrieval is approximately 1/2 that of the Standard Edition.
