If you proactively terminate a yearly/monthly subscription cluster before its expiration date, a refund may be generated. If you are not satisfied with the purchased SCS cluster, you can request a self-service return. The fees for the used resources will be deducted. Vouchers and discount coupons used for the purchase are not refundable. Non-voucher fees paid at the time of purchase will be refunded to your Tencent Cloud account based on the payment method (cash/cash voucher) and the payment proportion. You can perform cluster termination and refund operations in the SCS console. For details, see Terminating Clusters. Rules for calculating self-service return refunds:
Refund amount = Current effective order amount + Unstarted order amount – Used resource value
Current effective order amount: Refers to the payment amount of orders in effect, excluding discounts and vouchers.
Unstarted order amount: Refers to the payment amount for future-effective orders, excluding promo vouchers.
The value of used resources shall be calculated according to the following policies:
The cost for the used cluster resources is deducted. If the refund request is submitted on or after the day a full month of usage is completed, the deduction is based on the full-month rate. Otherwise, the deduction is calculated based on the daily rate.
The used portion is calculated precisely to the second.
If the refund amount is less than or equal to 0, it will be calculated as 0, and the resources will be reclaimed.
