Overview

Cloud Security Center (CSC) is Tencent Cloud's one-stop security management platform. Through its asset center, risk center, alert center, and advanced security management, it helps users achieve closed-loop security operations covering pre-threat detection, in-process response and fixing, and post-event traceback analysis, resolving security issues with a single click.
The CSC APIs covered in this chapter are all API 3.0 APIs.
You can call APIs to perform operations on CSC, such as querying Cloud Asset Management, security check, and multi-cloud and multi-account management.
For information on all CSC supported APIs, please see API overview.

Glossary

See the table below for common CSC API terminology:

Term Description
Asset center A module that centrally manages cloud assets, including hosts, containers, public IP addresses, domain names, networks, data, and other cloud resources.
Vulnerability and risk center Shows the risk data of existing assets. Supported risk types include vulnerability risk, port risk, weak password risk, risk service exposure, cloud resource configuration risk, and host & container baseline risk.
Alert center An integrated feature that centrally monitors and analyzes cloud security threats. It aggregates alarms from sources such as CSC, CWP, container security service, CFW, and WAF, performs correlation analysis based on the ATT&CK framework, and unifies threat discovery and management to help users quickly identify and handle potential security risks.
Multi-cloud and multi-account management Supports unified management of multi-cloud (Tencent Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.) and group-level multi-account, implements cross-cloud security control and group-level security management, and centrally manages the security protection status and risk information of cloud services.

Usage Limits

  • For differences in features between CSC versions, please refer to Billing Overview.
-For specific parameter limits, see the parameter descriptions in each API document.

Getting Started with APIs

You can use the API Explorer tool to call APIs online.
This document takes querying a group account as an example to introduce the steps for calling an API through the API Explorer tool:

  1. Go to the API Explorer tool page. For more information about API Explorer tool usage, see Using API Explorer.
  2. Call the Query group account user list API to get the group account's list of users.
  3. Call the API for querying the sub-account list of a group (https://cloud.tencent.com/document/api/664/114847) to get the sub-account list under a group account.
