This document describes the kernel version update notes for the database proxy of TencentDB for PostgreSQL.
Viewing the Database Proxy Version
You can view the version number of the database proxy by using the following methods.
1. Log in to the TencentDB for PostgreSQL console.
2. Locate the target instance in the instance list, click the Instance ID, and go to the instance management page.
3. Go to the Database Proxy tab and view the version number of the database proxy for the current instance under Overview.

The database proxy version is updated from time to time. If the database proxy version you want to upgrade to does not meet the kernel version requirements of TencentDB for PostgreSQL, upgrade the database kernel version first. For detailed operations, see Upgrading the Kernel Minor Version.
