WorkBuddy is a full-scenario desktop AI agent launched by Tencent Cloud, compatible with QQ/WeCom ecosystems. It supports local computer operations and switching between multiple models, providing commercial services through a Token quota package model suitable for both individual and team use. This article explains how to configure and use the Tencent Cloud Large Language Model Token Plan in WorkBuddy.

Before the configuration is started, make sure you have completed the following preparatory work:
Operation Steps
Install WorkBuddy by referring to the official WorkBuddy documentation based on your actual operating system. Then, configure the Token Plan.
Step 1: Installing WorkBuddy
Step 2: Starting WorkBuddy and Configuring a Custom Model
Start WorkBuddy. At the bottom of the conversation page, locate the model switching entry and click "+ Configure Custom Model".
Step 3: Selecting a Model Provider
On the Add Model page, select Custom/Custom.
Step 4: Configuring the API Endpoint, API Key, and Model Name
After configuring the following items, click OK and wait for the configuration to take effect.

Endpoint | https://tokenhub-intl.tencentcloudmaas.com/plan/v3/chat/completions (Copy and use directly).

API Key | Enter the API Key you obtained from the Tencent Cloud console. For details, see Obtain the API Key. |
Model Name | Enter the Model ID supported by Token Plan. For details, see Available Models and select the specific Model ID configuration. |
Note:
When configuring the model name, ensure you enter the value of the Model ID from your package.
Each model requires you to separately configure the API endpoint, API Key, and model name, and then save the settings.
Step 5: Switching to a Custom Model Conversation
Return to the conversation page, switch to the custom model configured in the previous steps, and you can start a conversation.
