What Are Quality Traffic Packages
Quality traffic packages are prepaid public network traffic plans. You can separately purchase them and flexibly use them to offset traffic consumption of same-region Tencent Cloud Lighthouse (Lighthouse) instances and general Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) IP addresses, including common public IP addresses and Elastic IPs (EIPs) in pay-by-traffic and main traffic billing modes. Compared with regular Traffic Package (TP), quality traffic packages provide lower latency and higher quality network communication capabilities for traffic from Hong Kong (China) and Singapore to the Chinese mainland.

If you want to enable Quality Traffic Package for general BGP IP addresses in Hong Kong (China), including common public IP addresses and EIPs in pay-by-traffic and main traffic billing modes, please submit a beta testing application. The application will be reviewed within 3 working days. Strengths
Quality traffic packages effectively improve the coverage quality of overseas services for users in the Chinese mainland. They achieve the improvement by optimizing intelligent link scheduling, dynamically selecting the optimal transmission path, avoiding detours via the egress networks of international Internet Service Providers (ISPs), and reducing the access latency.
Scenarios
Quality traffic packages provide lower-latency, higher-quality, and more stable network communication capabilities for traffic from Hong Kong (China) and Singapore to the Chinese mainland. They are primarily suitable for access acceleration for the Chinese mainland users accessing overseas-deployed services.
Offset Logic
After purchasing quality traffic packages, you need to enable Quality Traffic Package for the instance before you can use them. For details about how to enable Quality Traffic Package, see Getting Started. After Quality Traffic Package is enabled, the selected instance shares the quality traffic packages with other same-region instances that have Quality Traffic Package enabled. The offset logic of the quality traffic packages is as follows: Quality traffic packages are used only to offset the consumption of public network bandwidth traffic from Hong Kong (China) and Singapore to the Chinese mainland. Other public network bandwidth traffic is charged based on the original billing mode.
Quality traffic packages are billed based on outbound traffic.

For Lighthouse, the traffic packages included in their plans are first used to offset traffic consumption.
General BGP IP addresses, including common public IP addresses and EIPs in pay-by-traffic and main traffic billing modes are charged based on the rules and pricing of the original billing mode.
Quota Limits
Each account can hold a maximum of 20 valid quality traffic packages per region.
Quality traffic packages are used to offset traffic consumption by region. A single quality traffic package can be used to offset only the traffic consumption of instances within the same region.
