To provide you with a better product experience, the Web Application Firewall under your account will undergo an upgrade of its security log service capabilities from 2026-11-01 to 2026-11-30. The upgrade details are as follows.

Upgrade Details
1. New "Alert Center" security report
All Web Application Firewall editions will provide an out-of-the-box Alert Center security report, giving you access to the attack overview, attack event list, and attack details for the past 30 days. This capability is available to users of all Web Application Firewall editions and helps you quickly understand the security status of your sites.
2. "Attack Log" and "Access Log" are merged and upgraded into "Security Log"
The original "Attack Log" and "Access Log" of Web Application Firewall are merged and upgraded into a unified "Security Log", which contains all log fields of the original attack logs and access logs. If you need log storage, search, analysis, or shipping capabilities, you can enable the Security Log Service. Once enabled, you can review detailed request logs and attack logs in the Security Log Service and perform flexible statistical analysis and other operations. Meanwhile, log shipping becomes an add-on capability of the Security Log Service: you must enable the Security Log Service before you can enable and use log shipping. The upgraded Security Log Service supports a retention period of up to 730 days, and you can configure the log fields to be stored as needed.
Billing
From the date of the upgrade, Web Application Firewall will no longer provide free attack logs and log shipping. If you need to store, analyze, or ship attack logs or access logs, you can enable the Security Log Service as needed. The billing standard remains unchanged. For details, see the billing description of the Security Log Service package.
In addition, for customers who currently use the attack log shipping service for free or who have separately enabled access log shipping, the corresponding services and API interfaces will be retained until 2027-01-31(at midnight Beijing time). After that, they will all be upgraded to the new version described above, and you can enable the Security Log Service as needed to use the related capabilities.
