Quality traffic packages in the Valid (not expired) state can be returned in self-service mode in the console.
If you have consumed some traffic from the quality traffic package, the refund will be calculated by deducting the fee for the consumed traffic from the fee you paid for the quality traffic package at the standard price of USD 0.3/GB. After the fee for consumed traffic is deducted, the refund is processed in self-service mode. The refund amount is returned to the payer's Tencent Cloud account via the original payment channel, based on the proportion of cash and free credits used for the purchase. You can go to the Billing Center page to view the refund details. Note:
If the purchase price is less than the fee generated for consumed traffic, the total refund amount is 0.
If a quality traffic package has been exhausted but the package has not expired yet, the package can also be returned. In this case, the refund amount is USD 0.
Refund amount = Fee for the purchased quality traffic package – Fee for the consumed traffic
Fee for the purchased quality traffic package: the fee paid when you purchase the quality traffic package
Fee for the consumed traffic: USD 0.3/GB (standard price) x Consumed traffic
Refund Example
Assume that you purchase a quality traffic package of 10 GB in the Hong Kong (China) region on the first day of a month, use it for 3 days, and consume a total of 5 GB of traffic. In this case, if you return the quality traffic package, the refund amount is calculated as follows:
Fee for the purchased quality traffic package = USD 2.7253
Fee for the consumed traffic = USD 0.3/GB x 5 GB = USD 1.5
Refund amount = USD 2.7253 - USD 1.5 = USD 1.2253
