Database audit is billed by the stored log size for every clock-hour, and usage duration shorter than one hour will be calculated as one hour. For more information, see Database Audit Billing Overview.
How do I disable database audit after enabling it?
Log in to the TDSQL-C for MySQL console. In the audit instance list, select the target instance, and click More > Disable in the Operation column.
Note：
After it is disabled, the instance's audit policies, log records, and generated log files will be cleared and cannot be recovered. Please save the corresponding logs and files in advance.
How long can audit data be retained?
Audit data can be retained for seven days to five years. You can set the retention period when enabling audit in the TDSQL-C for MySQL console. You can also find the target instance in the audit instance list after enabling database audit, select More > Modify Audit Service in the Operation column, and then modify the audit log retention period.
