Cloud GPU Service is an elastic computing service that provides GPU compute capability and features exceptional parallel computing power. As a key enabler at the IaaS layer, it serves scenarios such as generative AI, autonomous driving, deep learning training, scientific computing, graphics and image processing, and video encoding/decoding. Tencent Cloud offers readily available compute capability at any time, effectively alleviating your computational pressure and enhancing business efficiency and competitiveness.

Cloud GPU Service

If you installed a Tesla or GRID driver version that does not match your business requirements, or if the GPU instance cannot run properly due to an incorrect driver type or version, you can upgrade the Tesla or GRID driver by uninstalling the current driver and installing the correct version.

NVIDIA GPU instance types include GPU passthrough instances (full GPU / physical GPU) and vGPU instances (fractional GPU, for example 1/4 GPU). Only passthrough (physical) GPUs can use the Tesla driver.

Make sure the previously installed driver has been fully uninstalled before upgrading. Otherwise, the new driver may not work properly.
