Global Accelerator provides comprehensive access services for your business. This document describes the differences in features and billing among different types of acceleration instances. Global Accelerator supports three instance types: GAAP, Global Accelerator 2.0, and layer-3 acceleration instances.
Global Accelerator 2.0: Provides layer-4 and layer-7 acceleration capabilities and supports the TCP/UDP/HTTP/HTTPS protocol acceleration. Multiple acceleration regions and one origin server region can be added for an instance to achieve many-to-one acceleration.
GAAP: Provides layer-4 and layer-7 acceleration capabilities and supports the TCP/UDP/HTTP/HTTPS protocol acceleration. One acceleration region and one origin server region can be added for an instance to achieve one-to-one acceleration.
Layer-3 acceleration instance: Provides layer-3 acceleration capability based on the IP (Internet Protocol). One acceleration region and one origin server region can be added for an instance to achieve one-to-one acceleration.

Product positioning
Provides layer-4 and layer-7 acceleration capabilities.
A single instance supports access from multiple acceleration regions and origin-pulls to the same origin server region, providing a many-to-one and end-to-end acceleration network.
Provides layer-4 and layer-7 acceleration capabilities.
A single instance supports access from one acceleration region and origin-pulls to the same origin server region, providing a one-to-one and end-to-end acceleration channel.
Provides layer-3 acceleration capability only.
A single instance supports access from one acceleration region and origin-pulls to the same origin server region, providing a one-to-one and end-to-end acceleration channel.
