Source Database Impact
During full data migration, DTS consumes certain source instance resources, which may increase the load and pressure of the source database. If your database configuration is low, we recommend you perform the migration during off-peak hours.
Migration Restrictions and Instructions
1. TencentDB for KeeWiDB string length cannot exceed 16MB. This limit applies to both String type Key and Value, as well as every element in compound data structures like Hash, Set, Zset, List . Otherwise, errors will be reported during the migration process. Please perform a self-check before migration.
2. DTS tasks do not support ring synchronization. Data written during ring synchronization will not stop and will continue to execute in a loop, causing a write storm.
3. DTS does not support breakpoint resume because there are no Binlog files, and all incremental data is synchronized in the connected memory. Once the connection is lost, the incremental data is lost from memory. Therefore, once a task is initiated, interrupt pause is not supported.
4. Migration of Modules is not supported.
5. Do not perform the following operations during migration; otherwise, the migration task will fail.\\
Do not modify or delete user information (including username, password, and permissions) and port number in both the source and target databases.
During the data migration phase, do not delete the destination database.
During the data migration phase, do not operate on the destination data to avoid inconsistency in the final data result.
