TencentOS Server is an enterprise-grade Linux server OS developed by Tencent Cloud, designed for CVM, bare metal servers, and container environments. The system is built on a community LTS kernel and optimized for cloud scenarios in networking, storage, resource scheduling, and container isolation. When creating a CVM instance in Tencent Cloud, you can select the corresponding TencentOS Server edition from public images for out-of-the-box use.

TencentOS Server V2 or tlinux2 is fully compatible with CentOS 7. The current product line primarily includes TencentOS Server 2.4.

TencentOS Server V3 or tlinux3 is fully compatible with CentOS 8. The current product line primarily includes TencentOS Server 3.

It has a built-in Linux 6.6 LTS stable kernel. Both the kernel and user space software are independently evolved based on the upstream community, with independent selection and maintenance, without relying on any third-party distribution. The current product line primarily includes TencentOS Server 4.
