Cloud Dedicated Zone (CDZ) combines the agility of the public cloud and the security and compliance of the local Internet Data Center (IDC), and can be used to deploy customers' core businesses.

Building Industry-Specific Clouds or Localized Dedicated Clouds

Scenario: CDZ is applicable to building dedicated cloud platforms for industries or internal group use, especially for highly regulated industries such as finance, government, healthcare, energy, and transportation. Customers in these sectors usually require localized data storage, demand that their business systems meet industry compliance and audit requirements, and expect a modern Ops experience consistent with that of the public cloud.
Value: CDZ provides out-of-the-box integrated hardware and software solutions, helping customers quickly build a cloud platform with minimum human resource input. It ensures that data remains within the IDC, meeting compliance and audit requirements. It provides a unified monitoring and Ops experience consistent with that of the public cloud.

Building Dedicated PaaS and SaaS Platforms

Scenario: CDZ is suitable for customers such as independent software vendors (ISVs), application software providers, and system integrators (SIs). These customers hope to build their own exclusive Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms based on robust cloud infrastructure, such as AI training platforms, intelligent ERP, industry-specific CRM, and visual BI platforms. These platforms usually need to process customers' sensitive data and require high platform stability and brand independence.
Value: CDZ provides a stable and physically isolated environment with exclusive resources. It offers a high-performance cloud service platform. It integrates Tencent Cloud's mature product capabilities and Ops capabilities, enabling developers to focus on business innovation without worrying about underlying infrastructure construction.

Edge Computing and Ultra-Low Latency Businesses

Scenario: CDZ is suitable for business scenarios that are highly sensitive to network latency and require computing capabilities to be as close as possible to user terminals or data generation sources, such as real-time industrial detection in smart factories, Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) in smart cities, offline immersive entertainment (AR/VR/MR), online interactive live streaming, and high-frequency trading in the securities and futures market.
Value: Computing capabilities are deployed closer to the customer’s site, reducing access latency to milliseconds. With data processed locally, real-time performance and seamless business operations are ensured.
