Note:
Prepaid yearly/monthly subscription: For refund requests, each account entity is eligible for an unconditional full refund within five days of purchasing a cluster. Any additional refund requests are processed as partial refunds.
Postpaid pay-as-you-go: Resources are immediately returned, and refunds cannot be applied for. Any frozen fees will be unfrozen and returned to your Tencent Cloud account according to the Freezing Rules.
If you encounter any issues during the refund process, you may contact customer service at 4009100100 or submit a ticket for assistance.
To enhance your experience with TDMQ for Apache Pulsar, we support self-service returns and refunds if you are unsatisfied with your yearly/monthly subscription cluster after purchase.

Five-day Unconditional Full Refund

TDMQ for Apache Pulsar complies with the Instruction on Refunds for Cloud Services of Tencent Cloud. Each account entity is eligible for an unconditional full refund within five days (inclusive) of purchasing a Pulsar cluster. The refund policy is as follows:
Each account entity may request an unconditional full refund for only one prepaid yearly/monthly subscription cluster.
For orders eligible for a five-day unconditional full refund, the refund amount is the total amount consumed at the time of purchase, including funds from the cash account, revenue transfer account, and gift account. For the specific refund policies, see Five-day Unconditional Full Refund.
Coupons or promo vouchers are non-refundable. The refund amount is fully returned to your Tencent Cloud account balance.
If the refund involves a cluster purchased as part of a promotional campaign, and the refund policy conflicts with the campaign policy, the campaign policy shall prevail.
Tencent Cloud reserves the right to reject refund requests in cases of suspected abnormal or malicious return activities.

Partial Refund

For refund requests that do not meet the five-day unconditional refund policy, the following rules apply:
If you have already utilized the five-day unconditional refund, other clusters can be returned through the self-service return process. For standard self-service returns, the refund will be issued to your Tencent Cloud account based on the proportion of cash and free credits used during the original purchase.
Refund amount = Payment amount – (Usage duration/Total duration) x Discount applied to the original order price
Usage duration less than one day is calculated as a full day. The applicable discount is determined based on the usage duration and the current system discount tier.
If the refund involves a cluster purchased as part of a promotional campaign, and the refund policy conflicts with the campaign policy, the campaign policy shall prevail.
Tencent Cloud reserves the right to reject refund requests in cases of suspected abnormal or malicious return activities.
